Sojourners
It all begins atop a dark mountain pass, as a heart-stopping ride throws Jacey into another dimension—and the arms of Adam Lodge—where she learns about an otherworldly race of people known as Sojourners. When Jacey's historical abilities prove that she is one of them, she joins Adam and his Sojourner friends in protecting their people from extinction. But this quest isn’t all fun and supernatural games, Jacey soon learns. Her new identity comes with all sorts of responsibilities—like outrunning demons and policing the streets—that don’t exactly appeal to a homebody with a penchant for pizza. To make matters worse, those Sojourner training sessions with Adam are doing crazy things to Jacey’s resting heart rate, despite the fact that Adam is already taken--by the nicest girl ever.
But when a teen goes missing in her small town, Jacey resolves to join the fight against a predator and her feelings for Adam. With practice, her historical powers help uncover small town secrets and protect a helpless classmate. But as her journey with Adam intensifies, will Jacey resist the forbidden love that could hurt an innocent friend?
